Tax planning is an essential part of any business.  Ellis & Associates will consult with you on strategies to maximize your assets and minimize your taxes through careful preparation and strategic planning.  In order to minimize taxes we prepare tax projections throughout the year.
We prepare business tax returns including Corporations and LLCs, Individual returns and Trusts, as well as many other types of returns.  Should the need arise we will represent you with taxing authorities.

Accounting Systems Selection and Installation
Without proper business systems in place, the operations of a business become difficult.  Ellis & Associates can help you set up your accounting systems, select and install accounting software and recruit employees to make your accounting systems efficient and informative.  We are highly qualified with many software systems and can provide support and training on most popular accounting packages.  In addition, we select and install specialized industry accounting software for many industries such as construction, manufacturing and professional services.  We have a QuickBooks Pro Advisor on staff to help you with those specific needs.

Business Consulting
Our business consulting division provides advice and insight into the financial and non-financial performance of our client’s operational and strategic processes.  Our “CFO” program is available to those companies who do not require the services nor the cost of a full time controller or chief financial officer but who need someone to assume those duties on a limited basis.  This program allows business owners the advantages of tailored business advice on a periodic basis.  For businesses we offer cash flow management, budgeting and projections, employee benefits planning, acquisition and merger support, theft prevention and control and loan acquisition services.  We also offer industry specific business consulting.

Financial Planning
